The Kindler Hotel

A combination of renovation and new construction, this 37,800 square foot, seven-story boutique hotel is a redevelopment project in downtown Lincoln that added three floors to the existing structure. Custom design features throughout the 45 luxury rooms include in-room minibars, rainfall showers, and spa access. Incorporated into the build is an upscale bar, Boitano’s Lounge, which serves guests unique cocktails from a menu crafted by Brian Boitano, an Olympic gold medalist in ice skating.

Serving Nebraska’s veterans, this project of 11 buildings on a 67-acre site totals 325,000 square feet of new construction and includes a fishing pond and sitescapes. The campus features a 75,000 square foot main building that houses administration, food services, clinic spaces, a wood shop, a craft area, chapel, and large group gathering spaces. Two 13,000 square foot buildings flank the main and offer physical therapy support. Six 34,000 to 38,000 square foot neighborhood structures serve as the living quarters for the members; each neighborhood has three distinct homes and 12-15 member bedrooms, for a total of 225 units; the neighborhoods and homes are designed for specific care models (assisted living, memory care, etc.) to meet the various needs of the members.
