University of Nebraska Lincoln – Lincoln, NE
This project is a 107,000 square foot facility where students can get medical, dental, physical therapy and mental health services. The state-of-the-art clinic has programming capacity to expand health-care services. One half of the project, 54,000 square feet, replaces the current health center for students at UNL. The other houses the new, 53,000 square foot UNMC College of Nursing facility.
State of Nebraska - Kearney, NE
The campus of the Central Nebraska Veterans Home is comprised of 11 buildings on a 67 acre site in northeast Kearney. The Veteran’s Home Center (VHC) is the main building at 75,000 square feet and features facilities administration, food service, clinic, wood shop, craft area, chapel, and large group gathering spaces. On each side of the VHC is a HUB building at 13,000 square feet each, which primarily supports physical therapy needs. Six neighborhood buildings ranging from 34,000-38,000 square feet are the living quarters for the Members (Veterans). Each neighborhood has three homes and has 12-15 Member bedrooms for a total of 225 units.
Each neighborhood and home is designed for specific care type models to meet the various needs of all Members. Memory Care (or Dementia Care), Medically Complex, Long Term Care, Palliative Care, Independent Living (or Domiciliary Care) as well as Assisted Living Care is provided throughout the facility. Special attention to the operational aspects of the home-like design was thoroughly examined and addressed as the design of the space came together.
University of Nebraska Lincoln – Lincoln, NE
The 240,000 square foot College of Business is the largest academic building project in recent history at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The new building serves as a central gathering and welcoming place for the College of Business community, the University and the private business collective in this region. The building features interactive learning spaces in state-of-the-art classrooms, cutting-edge technology and plenty of space to host events. The structure is a combination of cast in place concrete shear towers, concrete foundation walls and structural steel. The exterior façade is primarily comprised of glass curtainwall and precast concrete panels clad with natural limestone. The northwest quarter of the building houses the Dean’s office, also known as “The Cube”, and is a three-story square box fully wrapped in glass.
Eppley Airfield - Omaha, NE
New construction of a parking garage and rental car facility at Omaha, Nebraska’s Eppley Airfield. The parking garage will consist of 2,000 added spaces on four levels. The structure is designed with energy efficient lighting, improved vehicular flow and direct access from the street. The rental car facility features a climate controlled walkway to customer service and just a short escalator ride to the rental cars will have you on your way in no time.
This project is a 100,000 square foot facility containing both assisted living and memory care units. The facility includes 80 home-like living units with common spaces within the two-story wood framed structure. A full-service kitchen and dining area is located within the single-story wood framed and CMU commons building. The building exterior is comprised of multiple materials including siding, brick veneer and cast stone that help tie the facility into the surrounding neighborhood.

Hausmann has been tapped to construct this 20-story condominium building in Downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. Located on the corner of 11th & Q Streets, Lied Place Residence will be a $30 million redevelopment project and at completion, Lincoln’s second tallest building next to the Capitol.
