Hausmann is honored to be part of a project that directly supports Colorado’s recovery from wildfires and long-term environmental resilience. The new Colorado State Forest Service Seedling Tree Nursery—currently under construction in Fort Collins—is a critical investment in the state’s ability to reforest areas devastated by increasingly severe wildfires.
Once complete, this state-of-the-art facility will drastically increase the production capacity of native seedlings, providing millions of trees annually for replanting efforts throughout Colorado and neighboring western states. It represents a major step forward in climate response, ecological restoration, and sustainable land management.
Our team is proud to contribute the construction expertise required to bring this vision to life. From early coordination through execution, we’ve worked closely with Colorado State University and its partners to ensure the facility will meet the highly specialized needs of seedling production, including advanced environmental controls, durable infrastructure, and space for innovation in forestry science.
As builders, we understand the long-term impact of our work—and we’re proud that this project will help regrow forests, protect watersheds, and support future generations.
