Summerland Public Schools

Built on a greenfield site, this new 130,000 square foot PK-12 school is the product of over 50 years of partnering, consolidating the Clearwater, Ewing, and Orchard school districts into one building. The state-of-the-art facility includes a top-loading gymnasium, student collaboration areas, STEM spaces with the latest technologies, science labs, media center, commons that overlooks the new athletic field, and a five-room press box on the roof of the building.

A new 146,000 square foot PK-5 elementary school, designed to support seven sections of grades PK-5. Features a two-story building with a full-size gymnasium, art and music rooms, 10 Pre-K classrooms, 36 K-5 classrooms, two innovation centers, and open-concept libraries. Highlights include a spiral slide, a FEMA-rated storm shelter, and a geothermal well field with a water-source heat pump HVAC system.

A renovation and addition project including five new classrooms, administration offices, and a new main entrance. Other features include a new outdoor basketball court, playground, and landscaping updates. New flooring, paint, ceiling, lighting, HVAC, fire alarms, and mechanical/plumbing upgrades throughout the facility were also included.
