In January 2024, Hausmann opened an office in the heart of Sioux Falls – The Plaza Building at 101 S. Philips. Matching the energy of the downtown scene, the new office allows our team of 25+ to be readily available to meet with clients and immerse the Hausmann culture into the community through events and networking.
Our work in South Dakota started three years ago with a renovation of the CT lab at St. Michael’s Hospital Avera in Tyndall, SD. This would be the first project completed by Hausmann in South Dakota and would open the door to the Hausmann name becoming recognized in the state for providing a different standard in construction management services.
Later that year, Hausmann was selected as the CM for the Dakota State University Athletics Event Complex project. The $37 million project includes new construction of an athletics event center that includes suites and e-sports as well as an outdoor track, soccer, and football field. The hard work and trust that was developed by our team at DSU helped to secure projects in Vermillion, Brookings, and surrounding areas all within an 8-month span.
Hausmann is a full-service construction management company with the ability to provide pre-bond and preconstruction services tailored to the needs of each project. Whether helping school districts pass referendums, analyzing value engineering opportunities, or providing estimates and constructability reviews, we routinely facilitate the design and construction process to ensure each client receives the best value. This detailed and proactive approach to customer service has been instrumental in helping us secure additional work in the area.
