Safety is arguably one of the most important aspects of construction activity, and yet the least recognized. For this Construction Safety Week, we joined firms across our industry to raise awareness about the multiple ways we prioritize accident prevention and sound decision making on our sites. Safety is more than a hard hat, gloves, and a vest—it is a lifestyle that encompasses nutrition, hygiene, sleep habits, and presence of mind on the job. Deep breathing might be just as important as steel-toed shoes, and our dedicated safety crew ensures that every person under the Hausmann umbrella has access to what they need to create functioning jobsites that send everyone home each night.
